Shiva in our life
The 4 states of the Universe are as follows:
++ Sthula
++ Sookshma
++ Shunya
++ Shiva
Sthula : The gross matter. Or matter as we see it through our five senses. For example, this mountain, this river, this person, etc. Newton’s laws of nature are applicable at this level.
Sookshma : The invisible world. Has anyone seen an atom? Maybe through an electron microscope. But most of these quantum worlds is invisible to us. Quantum mechanics is applicable here at this level.
Shunya : means emptiness. That’s it. It’s beyond our intellect. To feel Shunya, we must peek inside us. Deep inside us.
Shiva : That which is not.
All these states occur simultaneously. They cannot be separated. All of them can be achieved, except for Shiva. Sthula requires no explanation. We are experiencing this every day. Sookshma, for those who don’t have a microscope, I would suggest this experiment. Look at the Sun and close your eyes. You will see small, microscopic cells moving. These are the retinal cells of our eyes. That is about the resolution we can get without an instrument. For Shunya, there is a method called Shunya meditation. The idea is to focus on your breath, put your thoughts aside, and slowly enter the heart. With your thumb on the heart chakra and index finger on the physical heart, breathe slowly (inhale 1-2-3-4 and exhale 1-2-3-4-5-6) Use a mantra if you like. Give it some time. The effects are that you will become very calm.
Shunya in science is absolute zero (-273.15 degrees Celsius) It’s marked by an absence of movement of all particles as the heat dies down. The Universe is at about -270 degrees Celsius. 99% of it is made of emptiness. The 1% that we see as matter is what keeps the energy one notch up. This is what we are made of. Star stuff. The third law of thermodynamics says that the entropy (disorder) of a crystal at absolute zero is zero. No movement. Absolute freeze.
You must have heard ‘Everything is Energy’. It’s true, but not, when it comes to Shiva. He is beyond the present moment. What we perceive as ‘Past-Present-Future’, is a play of Saturn or Time. Energy is not affected by Time. And Shiva is not affected by either. Both time and energy are nothing but a consequence of Shiva’s dance. What He wills, happens. No two ways about it.
You don’t have to do anything to invite ‘Shiva’ into your life. He is the one who is doing what you are doing. In my case, right now, He is writing this. I’m just a medium. Like it or not, knowingly, or unknowingly we are all progressing. The best we can do consciously to be more effective and move in the direction of our goals is to make our environment more conducive. Say, for example, you want roses in your garden. What do you do? Have the best soil, exposure to sunlight, water every now and then, put fertilizers, and wilt out the weeds. The rose will manifest without any effort.
In the same way, Shiva (or God) does not require any effort to fructify our goals. To welcome Shiva, what we must do from our side is
++ Maintain a high vibration
++ Thought Culture
++ Prayer
Rest assured; He will take care of all our needs.
His dance becomes our deeds which in turn will become our destiny.
Om Nama Shivay!
God Bless!
